The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saúl Gentiletti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mané Barreto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hikmet Lebib went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 55 minutes into the match, Saúl Gentiletti notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's Mané Barreto. Mané Barreto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mané Barreto came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Žalia Giria's Saúl Gentiletti. But to his dismay, Saúl Gentiletti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 61st minute Saúl Gentiletti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mané Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adolfo Carrizo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albin Anundsson in the 64th minute. Evaristo Mesquita's late challenge caught a FC Žalia Giria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flamengo Paraibano's Albin Anundsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mané Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saúl Gentiletti in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute of the match FC Žalia Giria got a corner. E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Titas Rapalis ran over to the corner to take the kick. Edinho Dantas thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Mané Barreto, a very annoying self made goal in the 79th minute which led to 5-2. The supporters of FC Žalia Giria booed when E. C. Flamengo Paraibano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Anundsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 86 minutes E. C. Flamengo Paraibano's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner.
