In the 10th play minute Nayden Stefov came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Andoni Zubizarreta. 2-0. 12 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s goalkeeper Andoni Zubizarreta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nayden Stefov. Espirillo FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ciro Taurino in the 13th minute. Espirillo FC's Ciro Taurino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Andoni Zubizarreta in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florencio Dacio got free with Andoni Zubizarreta in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valencia C.F.'s Andoni Zubizarreta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Valencia C.F. from getting a goal against them. Silvio Domeka's late challenge caught a Valencia C.F.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvio Domeka helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Valencia C.F. booed when Espirillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Domeka didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Gualterio Luar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florentin Gougeon took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nestor Kelemen. Nestor Kelemen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 25 minutes into the game, Josh Nethercott was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valencia C.F.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Espirillo FC the free kick. After 25 played minutes Valencia C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Josh Nethercott. In the 36th minute, Florentin Gougeon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nestor Kelemen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Rait Raag could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Andoni Zubizarreta made a huge save. 46 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when David Corderun came free, but Andoni Zubizarreta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nayden Stefov succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-2 in the 47th playminute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florencio Dacio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Espirillo FC's Florencio Dacio in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Valencia C.F.'s goalie prevented a goal. Andoni Zubizarreta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Taurino in the 54th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, David Corderun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Espirillo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. The supporters of Espirillo FC booed when Valencia C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaz Askew didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andoni Zubizarreta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Elequemedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Valencia C.F. getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Josh Nethercott hit a great ball. In the 68th minute Svetlozar Vúlov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andoni Zubizarreta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valencia C.F.'s Andoni Zubizarreta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Taurino in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Svetlozar Vúlov came free, but Andoni Zubizarreta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Brito hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After 75 played minutes Valencia C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Josh Nethercott. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nayden Stefov in the 76th minute of play forced Valencia C.F.'s goalkeeper Andoni Zubizarreta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentin Gougeon in the 79th minute of play forced Espirillo FC's goalkeeper Nestor Kelemen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Taurino in the 81st minute of play forced Valencia C.F.'s goalkeeper Andoni Zubizarreta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th match minute, Espirillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualterio Luar to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Espirillo FC's zone, Florentin Gougeon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Kelemen came out of the goal and Florentin Gougeon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florencio Dacio hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Josh Nethercott got his second yellow card in the match during the 97th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Josh Nethercott hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Espirillo FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Valencia C.F. for a fine match.
