The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Guanacos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorino Rio to maneuver through the defense. Guanacos's Celso Frutos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Dacio in the 6th minute of play. Celso Frutos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Corderun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute Orlando Gonza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Kelemen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Damian Guzman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestor Kelemen was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. When Guanacos's Damian Guzman, in the 11th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Guanacos. Nestor Kelemen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Gonza in the 15th minute of play. Celso Frutos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Corderun, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Nestor Kelemen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Honorato Federigo went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Guanacos's Celso Frutos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Guanacos from getting a goal against them. Nestor Kelemen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Gonza in the 28th minute of the match. Celso Frutos made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Florencio Dacio sent off a good shot on target. 32 minutes into the match, Guanacos's goalkeeper Celso Frutos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nayden Stefov. Nestor Kelemen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Vedillo in the 35th minute of play. Nestor Kelemen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Rio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celso Frutos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Corderun in the 41st minute of play. Rait Raag hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, Guanacos's goal looked a bit too open when David Corderun came free, but Celso Frutos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damian Guzman made a kick off. Florencio Dacio scored 1-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Celso Frutos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rait Raag hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Orlando Gonza hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Celso Frutos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Corderun in the 63rd minute of the match. A collision led to Guanacos getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Victorino Rio hit a great ball. Honorato Federigo charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Honorato Federigo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Honorato Federigo kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Guanacos's Nestor Kelemen threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Honorato Federigo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Guanacos's Dario Ermano got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guanacos's goalkeeper Celso Frutos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nestor Kelemen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Guzman, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 92 played minutes Guanacos got a freekick which was hit by Damian Guzman. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emiliano Chucho during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Emiliano Chucho kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Espirillo FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Guanacos to leave the ground with a draw.
