The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Charmander City's Mei Xun Ao quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lázaro Librado, made in the 3rd minute of the game. In the 5thth minute of the game Sharma Cavani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Newpi Academy's Dionisio Abaurre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 8th minute, Sharma Cavani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dionisio Abaurre was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Sharma Cavani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dionisio Abaurre made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Sharma Cavani sent off a good shot on target. After 29 minutes, Jonathan Donostia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Charmander City and the Newpi Academy players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Charmander City getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Jonathan Donostia hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgard Quintun in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tedi Papo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sharma Cavani scored 4-0 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dionisio Abaurre, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dionisio Abaurre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sharma Cavani, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgard Quintun to make the kick off. Charmander City's attentive Mei Xun Ao managed to snatch the ball when Lázaro Librado made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. Sharma Cavani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dionisio Abaurre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Lázaro Librado threw the ball into play from the sideline. Charmander City's Mei Xun Ao quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 58th minute, Sharma Cavani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Charmander City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Lázaro Librado made in the 62nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Rolando Reynardo immediately put the ball in play. Dionisio Abaurre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Vincente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Sharma Cavani notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Newpi Academy's Dionisio Abaurre. Dionisio Abaurre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sharma Cavani scored 7-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dionisio Abaurre, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Narciso Vincente kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. The throw-in from Lázaro Librado in the 75th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Charmander City's Mei Xun Ao. After having played for 76 minutes, Sharma Cavani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Charmander City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sharma Cavani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 77 minutes into the game, Lázaro Librado threw the ball into play from the sideline. Charmander City's Sharma Verde quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Newpi Academy's goalkeeper Dionisio Abaurre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dionisio Abaurre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Vincente in the 84th minute of the match. Sharma Cavani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dionisio Abaurre having to make a save. Dionisio Abaurre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Charmander City's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
