After 13 played minutes ManagerZone Academy got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Elija. After 17 played minutes RWDM got a freekick which was hit by Jaakkima Kinisjärvi. If Steve Hyuga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moises Marcones scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saturnino Vargas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. ManagerZone Academy's Sergio Romero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save ManagerZone Academy from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natalio Jacob in the 43rd minute of play forced RWDM's goalkeeper Saturnino Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of ManagerZone Academy booed when RWDM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billie De Weijngaert didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Moises Marcones stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Prospero Elija was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 51 minutes into the match. RWDM's Billie De Weijngaert got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When RWDM's Bass Boffin in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, Nicky De Scheper had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sergio Romero. ManagerZone Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicky De Scheper was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After a rather tough play, RWDM's Patrick De Peuter got a free kick in the 95th minute.
