The referee ignored Tasso FC's protests and gave Miguel Sequeira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th match minute, Tasso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Sequeira to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Tasso FC's Severi Nybacka got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Napoleón 2018's Edmílson Veloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Napoleón 2018 from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jero Rivera in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jero Rivera in the 45th minute of play forced Tasso FC's goalkeeper Silverio Corderun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute Jero Rivera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Corderun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Waldir Urbano made a kick off. Edmílson Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldir Urbano, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Napoleón 2018's Isidro Llorian was substituted for Saturnino Johans. For all the effort they put into the match, the Napoleón 2018 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tasso FC.
