Saturnino Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Llorian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saturnino Johans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Saturnino Vargas made a huge save. Saturnino Vargas made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Isidro Llorian sent off a good shot on target. Napoleón 2018's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gregorio Garoa in the 16th minute. After 18 minutes RWDM's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gregorio Garoa who took care of the corner kick. A hard shot 19 in the game by Isidro Llorian from a close distance when the talented Saturnino Vargas managed to make a qualified save. RWDM's players were relieved. Edmílson Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wesley Van de Schrieck, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Napoleón 2018's Saturnino Johans got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Saturnino Vargas came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Napoleón 2018's Prudencio Gai. But to his dismay, Prudencio Gai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Edmílson Veloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bass Boffin, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Lisandro Vitin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Billie De Weijngaert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Bass Boffin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, RWDM's goalkeeper Saturnino Vargas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prudencio Gai. Prudencio Gai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Saturnino Vargas made a huge save. A collision led to RWDM getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Billie De Weijngaert hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 54th minute Napoleón 2018 were awarded a corner. Gregorio Garoa went to the cornerflag to take it. Gregorio Garoa made a great header on Napoleón 2018's corner, it was just that RWDM's Saturnino Vargas managed to reach the ball for a save. Napoleón 2018's Jero Rivera was substituted for Isidro Llorian. After 59 minutes RWDM's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gregorio Garoa who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Napoleón 2018's corner Gregorio Garoa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Saturnino Vargas quite easily take care of the ball. After 64 minutes of play, Napoleón 2018's Saturnino Johans made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saturnino Vargas was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Johans in the 70th minute of play forced RWDM's goalkeeper Saturnino Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Saturnino Johans managed to get in a good position for a shot. Napoleón 2018's supporters rose to their feet, but Saturnino Johans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saturnino Vargas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Billie De Weijngaert charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Billie De Weijngaert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to RWDM getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Billie De Weijngaert hit a great ball. Saturnino Vargas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Johans, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Saturnino Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Johans in the 83rd minute of play. A collision led to RWDM getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Bass Boffin hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jero Rivera in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saturnino Vargas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Napoleón 2018 booed when RWDM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bass Boffin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Napoleón 2018's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
