Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Frank Peletier got the match started through his kick off. France's Frank Peletier got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frank Peletier took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bertil Hellgren. Bertil Hellgren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Leo Kling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Henry Hjortberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Färnäs fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Färnäs's Hannes Ström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camille Baume in the 22nd minute of play forced Färnäs's goalkeeper Bertil Hellgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maxime Durand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Hjortberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hannes Ström in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. When Frank Peletier came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the France fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Peletier couldn't finish the play. Henry Hjortberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Durand having to interfere. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Alexis Bruneau hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henry Hjortberg made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Leo Kling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Färnäs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leo Kling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Kling in the 61st minute of play. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by France's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ian Lundin was slow to take the kick. During this time Färnäs's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Färnäs's Ian Lundin to fire away a dangerous shot which Maxime Durand despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ian Lundin kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Bertil Hellgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Peletier in the 68th minute. Bertil Hellgren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Peletier's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. France's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by David Barbier in the 69th minute. The corner ended in David Barbier almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Färnäs's Bertil Hellgren did a great save. Jean Bombelles kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the game, Hannes Ström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Maxime Durand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 77 minutes into the match, France's Camille Baume sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bertil Hellgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 82 played minutes Färnäs got a freekick which was hit by Leo Kling. If Henry Hjortberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Robert Chapuis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Henry Hjortberg came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Färnäs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henry Hjortberg couldn't finish the play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
