Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Chris Nygaard made the kick off and thus started the match. When Chris Nygaard came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Nygaard couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute Phaiakes Paraskevopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute FC NATIONAL were awarded a corner. Octavian Popescu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led FC NATIONAL's Octavian Popescu to fire away a dangerous shot which Keld Paulsen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The throw-in from Iulian Miu in the 10th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Lars Steen. Alexandros Petridis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 11th minute of play. After having played for 16 minutes, Jonathan Calleri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC NATIONAL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Calleri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 19 minutes of play, Denmark's Mikkel Wulff made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexandros Petridis was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Paraskevas Sorin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Paraskevas Sorin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 26 minutes into the game, Lars Steen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Denmark's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC NATIONAL the free kick. Lars Steen hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Keld Paulsen made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Octavian Popescu sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 32 in the game by Octavian Popescu from a close distance when the talented Keld Paulsen managed to make a qualified save. Denmark's players were relieved. 33 minutes into the match, Mikkel Wulff notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC NATIONAL's Alexandros Petridis. Alexandros Petridis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paraskevas Sorin struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Keld Paulsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC NATIONAL. Keld Paulsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonathan Calleri in the 38th minute. 42 minutes into the match, FC NATIONAL's goal looked a bit too open when Bertram Svenningsen came free, but Alexandros Petridis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Denmark booed when FC NATIONAL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akestes Bentihavas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

After 53 minutes of play, FC NATIONAL's Octavian Popescu made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Keld Paulsen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Calleri in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, FC NATIONAL's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Alexandros Petridis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavian Popescu in the 61st minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octavian Popescu took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavian Popescu in the 64th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Phaiakes Paraskevopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Phaiakes Paraskevopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th match minute, FC NATIONAL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Akestes Bentihavas to maneuver through the defense. Bertram Svenningsen might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexandros Petridis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bertram Svenningsen ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of FC NATIONAL booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertram Svenningsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexandros Petridis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavian Popescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Octavian Popescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keld Paulsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. In the 93rd match minute, FC NATIONAL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iulian Miu to maneuver through the defense. Many of Denmark's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Denmark may have spent more time on the ball, but FC NATIONAL were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
