Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nikolai Gerada made the kick off which started today's match. When Chris Nygaard came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Nygaard couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nikolai Gerada in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keld Paulsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Nikolai Gerada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas Dalli. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joseph De Fremeaux got free with Keld Paulsen in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Buġibba Youngsters booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bjarne Kirkegaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Chris Nygaard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nikolai Gerada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francesco Ciantar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen in the 21st minute of play. When Chris Nygaard fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Denmark's protests and gave Chris Nygaard a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Buġibba Youngsters booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Nygaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denmark's Keld Paulsen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Denmark from getting a goal against them. Bertram Svenningsen struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Francesco Ciantar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. When Buġibba Youngsters's Nikolai Gerada in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Denmark's goalie prevented a goal. Buġibba Youngsters's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Samuel Montebello in the 39th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nathaniel Sammut got free with Keld Paulsen in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joseph De Fremeaux got free with Keld Paulsen in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Francesco Ciantar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chris Nygaard's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Buġibba Youngsters's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Chris Nygaard was slow to take the kick. During this time Denmark's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joseph De Fremeaux in the 54th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Thomas Dalli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel Montebello kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. A hard shot by Chris Nygaard from long distance, 60 minutes into the match, got Francesco Ciantar's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Buġibba Youngsters's Joseph De Fremeaux. But to his dismay, Joseph De Fremeaux quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 66th minute, Nikolai Gerada made a precise shot to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Buġibba Youngsters made a substitution. Ivan Chircop replaced Joseph De Fremeaux. Buġibba Youngsters's Matthew Magro was substituted for Nathaniel Sammut. After 70 played minutes Buġibba Youngsters got a freekick which was hit by Clint Bajada. 73 minutes in the game Samuel Montebello did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Nikolai Zammit. Nikolai Gerada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Buġibba Youngsters's Nikolai Zammit got a free kick in the 86th minute. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikolai Gerada in the 88th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Buġibba Youngsters players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
