Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Blomstermåla BK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Egbert Nijveldt got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Karl-Åke Lidström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Blomstermåla BK were furious when Carl Nordlander was red carded, 8 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Blomstermåla BK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Netherlands:s goal. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Lars Meesters got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute Leonard Smed shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lars Meesters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per Åström in the 18th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl-Åke Lidström. Blomstermåla BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaaf Groeneveldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Karl-Åke Lidström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 29th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Blomstermåla BK's Per Åström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arnout Reekers. That made the score 1-2 after 31 minutes of play. Leonard Smed charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonard Smed the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Blomstermåla BK's Leonard Smed got a free kick in the 33rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lennart Nilsson during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th minute, one of Blomstermåla BK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Blomstermåla BK. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim Nordstedt in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Per Åström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Karl-Åke Lidström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Karl-Åke Lidström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Karl-Åke Lidström. That made the score 1-6 in the 55 minute of play. In the 58th minute, Blomstermåla BK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Karl-Åke Lidström made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per Åström in the 60th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Blomstermåla BK's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Lidström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 68th minute of play forced Blomstermåla BK's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Lidström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 played minutes Gijsbert ter Kruimer rounded Blomstermåla BK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-7. 76 minutes into the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Karl-Åke Lidström. Gijsbert ter Kruimer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-8. 84 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Tim Nordstedt came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Netherlands walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
