In the 5th minute Tim Nordstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the game, Tim Nordstedt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fodor Daniel. Tim Nordstedt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The audience was convinced that Tim Nordstedt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. After having played for 12 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Blomstermåla BK's Per Åström. But to his dismay, Per Åström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 16 minutes into the match, Blomstermåla BK's Per Åström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tage Björkdahl charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tage Björkdahl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Hungary booed when Blomstermåla BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tage Björkdahl didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Hungary's Antal Valentin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl-Åke Lidström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Major Barna took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl-Åke Lidström. Karl-Åke Lidström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Blomstermåla BK were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Hungary's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tim Nordstedt took the corner. Tim Nordstedt made a great header on Blomstermåla BK's corner, it was just that Hungary's Fodor Daniel managed to reach the ball for a save. 37 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Per Åström came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blomstermåla BK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tim Nordstedt in the 39th minute. Blomstermåla BK's Per Åström was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 42nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Per Åström made a kick off. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Blomstermåla BK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hungary:s goal. Antal Valentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Major Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Karl-Åke Lidström made a huge save. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Karl-Åke Lidström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Arnulfo Ongile cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Fodor Daniel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Karl-Åke Lidström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 71st minute of play. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Blomstermåla BK's Per Åström. But to his dismay, Per Åström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. The audience was convinced that Leonard Smed's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Karl-Åke Lidström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 77th minute of play. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Ongile, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Per Åström came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Blomstermåla BK's Per Åström in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hungary's goalie prevented a goal. In the 86th minute Takacs Tibor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Åke Lidström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 87 minutes Blomstermåla BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Balazs Lajos managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 92nd minute, Antal Valentin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, Blomstermåla BK could leave the field as winners, despite Hungary having more of the ball for most of the match.
