After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Fletcher Main managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scotland's supporters rose to their feet, but Fletcher Main was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abel Villapadierna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute Fletcher Main shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Villapadierna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 played minutes Patapon FC got a freekick which was hit by Jabier Viedes. Fletcher Main scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abel Villapadierna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abel Villapadierna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zac O'Donnell, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. The supporters of Scotland booed when Patapon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Galindo Llain didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zac O'Donnell in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abel Villapadierna saved Patapon FC from getting behind. In the 35th minute Fletcher Main shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Villapadierna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 minutes of play, Patapon FC's Jabier Viedes made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexander Higgins was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jabier Viedes to strike the kick off in the second half. Patapon FC's Abel Villapadierna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Patapon FC from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Zac O'Donnell took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Abel Villapadierna to make any attempt to save it. Patapon FC's Abel Villapadierna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Patapon FC from getting a goal against them. 67 minutes into the match, Ashton Nelson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Abel Villapadierna, 1-4. After a defensive mix-up in Scotland's zone, Galindo Llain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexander Higgins came out of the goal and Galindo Llain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Galindo Llain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Abel Villapadierna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zac O'Donnell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th match minute, Patapon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prospero Janez to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute, Zac O'Donnell fired a really elegant long shot, but Abel Villapadierna threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Patapon FC's zone, Zac O'Donnell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abel Villapadierna came out of the goal and Zac O'Donnell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Galindo Llain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zac O'Donnell took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abel Villapadierna. Abel Villapadierna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Fletcher Main could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Abel Villapadierna made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Scotland had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
