Menios Chloros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee ignored Mean Machine's protests and gave Nikos Stasinos a yellow card for diving instead. Nikos Stasinos hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carles Pujol in the 82nd minute of play. Nedim Emekli might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodor Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nedim Emekli ran back to his position shaking his head. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nedim Emekli, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Balazs Lajos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Menios Chloros having to make a save. Nedim Emekli might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodor Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nedim Emekli ran back to his position shaking his head. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nedim Emekli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mean Machine's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
