After a rather tough play, U 1974's Dacian Neacșu got a free kick in the 14th minute. After taking down the ball on U 1974's corner Manuel Balint fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Khalid Kennedy quite easily take care of the ball. Octavian Hârtopanu's late challenge caught a England's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Octavian Hârtopanu helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 25 minutes, Kyle Cox managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. England's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kyle Cox was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dumitru Oardă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Cox, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by U 1974's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Micah Macdonald was slow to take the kick. During this time England's players had a chance to rest. Micah Macdonald made a great header on England's corner, it was just that U 1974's Dumitru Oardă managed to reach the ball for a save. Micah Macdonald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kyle Cox to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, U 1974 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Andriescu to maneuver through the defense. Dumitru Oardă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kyle Cox, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Octavian Hârtopanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cooper Thompson charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cooper Thompson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. U 1974's Gheorghe Fânaru was substituted for Eneto Vidal. Cooper Thompson hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the game, U 1974's Robert Andriescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Khalid Kennedy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Khalid Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dacian Neacșu, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After having played for 69 minutes, Kyle Cox managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A collision led to U 1974 getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Robert Andriescu hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the game, U 1974's Octavian Hârtopanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Khalid Kennedy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gheorghe Fânaru in the 89th minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Khalid Kennedy came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by U 1974's Octavian Hârtopanu. But to his dismay, Octavian Hârtopanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Khalid Kennedy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Andriescu in the 93rd minute of play. Xavier Gallagher hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, England's goal looked a bit too open when Gheorghe Fânaru came free, but Khalid Kennedy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The U 1974 fans cheered their team off the field, for while England had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
