Frank Peletier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mauro Ribas having to make a save. Joaquim Roriz kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. F.C. Camille Baume in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mauro Ribas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a rather tough play, F.C. Paços de Ferreira fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauro Ribas should have stopped the shot. The F.C. Paços de Ferreira fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. France were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
