In the 18th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbigniew Barowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manantiales Fc's Zbigniew Barowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Mathijn Doctor got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 26th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bas Tuitert to maneuver through the defense. After 27 played minutes Manantiales Fc got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Beliran. Gust Ennemans made in the 35th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Manantiales Fc's Aurelio Aragones. After a defensive mix-up in Netherlands's zone, Ronaldo Ronaldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal and Ronaldo Ronaldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Ronaldo Ronaldo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 47th match minute, Manantiales Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Ronaldo to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Federico Hanni to make the kick off. Ronaldo Ronaldo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnout Reekers having to make a save. Federico Hanni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 56th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbigniew Barowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Ronaldo came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Zbigniew Barowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer hit a great ball. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manantiales Fc made a substitution. Epifanio Bernaldo replaced Isidro Cresencio. In the 86th minute, Federico Hanni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manantiales Fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 95th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gust Ennemans to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute Jesus Orlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Manantiales Fc support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
