Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Caballo Negro's Artur Van Caels started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Camille Baume received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Bonifacio Matxin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Frank Peletier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, Caballo Negro's goal looked a bit too open when Camille Baume came free, but Bonifacio Matxin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Caballo Negro getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Abel Llorienzo hit a great ball. In the 25th match minute, Caballo Negro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Firme to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Frank Peletier put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Bonifacio Matxin. After 29 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Frank Peletier. Frank Peletier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bonifacio Matxin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Cosme Guter hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After 34 played minutes, France's David Barbier shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bonifacio Matxin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in France reached it. Frank Peletier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Bonifacio Matxin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artur Van Caels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Durand having to interfere. Octavio Segio made in the 39th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Julio Firme however managed to control. Octavio Segio hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Frank Peletier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bonifacio Matxin was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. 47 minutes into the match, Camille Baume had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bonifacio Matxin. Caballo Negro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Camille Baume was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After the first half France were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Peletier was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Caballo Negro's goalkeeper Bonifacio Matxin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Peletier. After a rather tough play, France's Quentin Beaux got a free kick in the 57th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Caballo Negro's Abel Llorienzo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maxime Durand narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frank Peletier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Iker Herensuge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Camille Baume reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bonifacio Matxin. The goal made the score 1-3. 67 minutes into the game, Frank Peletier recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bonifacio Matxin. Frank Peletier showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. In the 70th match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexis Bruneau to maneuver through the defense. When Caballo Negro's Artur Van Caels in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye France's goalie prevented a goal. Frank Peletier who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Bonifacio Matxin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 77 minutes, Julio Firme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caballo Negro and the France players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th match minute, Caballo Negro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Firme to maneuver through the defense. Bonifacio Matxin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camille Baume, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Bonifacio Matxin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Peletier in the 84th minute. Jean Bombelles's late challenge caught a Caballo Negro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jean Bombelles helped the player get up and apologised. 85 minutes into the game, one of France:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 86 minutes into the match, Iker Herensuge had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maxime Durand. France's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iker Herensuge was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Bonifacio Matxin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Camille Baume's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Frank Peletier struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Bonifacio Matxin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for France. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched France eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
