Gustaaf Groeneveldt took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rambo Jon. Rambo Jon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 12th minute, Lars Meesters got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rambo Jon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Netherlands booed when La Mora CAT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nader Shehta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joerie De Cat got a throw-in 20 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Etor Benito. Bas Tuitert kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Urbasa Alabern managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Mora CAT's supporters rose to their feet, but Urbasa Alabern was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnout Reekers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. La Mora CAT's Rambo Jon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 25th minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Wim Wilmes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Rambo Jon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 35 minutes, Tebaldo Mondejar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Mora CAT and the Netherlands players grew even worse after the yellow card. Netherlands's Sijmen Clous was substituted for David Eikelkamp. Tebaldo Mondejar hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 43rd minute of play forced La Mora CAT's goalkeeper Rambo Jon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbasa Alabern, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Rambo Jon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gustaaf Groeneveldt might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rambo Jon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran back to his position shaking his head. La Mora CAT made a substitution. Oto Zamora replaced Etor Benito. Rambo Jon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rambo Jon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sijmen Clous in the 66th minute of the match. La Mora CAT's Rambo Jon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 70th minute of play. After 72 minutes La Mora CAT's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Lars Meesters almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but La Mora CAT's Rambo Jon did a great save. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jani Petters in the 74th minute of the match. Severino Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. La Mora CAT made a substitution. Jose Policarpio replaced Jani Petters. After a rather tough play, La Mora CAT's Nabucodonosor Rallo got a free kick in the 77th minute. La Mora CAT's Rambo Jon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save La Mora CAT from getting a goal against them.
