Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Svante Clementsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svante Clementsson in the 8th minute of play. Svante Clementsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Frank Sachs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hannes Blomqvist was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 16thth minute of the game Svante Clementsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven Ekberg. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Germany! In the 26th minute Svante Clementsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Doctors of Ophtalmology getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Charlie Haeger hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Germany's Frank Sachs tried to score from far away in the 29th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Doctors of Ophtalmology's Sven Ekberg suffered a concussion after 36 minutes and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Janik Vogt during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Doctors of Ophtalmology made a substitution. Niklas Nyström replaced Sven Ekberg. The supporters of Doctors of Ophtalmology booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janik Vogt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th match minute, Doctors of Ophtalmology was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svante Clementsson to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Svante Clementsson went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Svante Clementsson struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Doctors of Ophtalmology. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Hannes Blomqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Willy Stieler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 68 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Willy Stieler. Svante Clementsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 75 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hannes Blomqvist made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. Niklas Nyström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 89th minute, Niklas Nyström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 97th minute of the match Germany got a corner. Doctors of Ophtalmology's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frank Sachs ran over to the corner to take the kick. Frank Sachs made a great header on Germany's corner, it was just that Doctors of Ophtalmology's Hannes Blomqvist managed to reach the ball for a save. Doctors of Ophtalmology walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
