Seth Young charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Seth Young the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Real Escualido FC booed when England was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seth Young didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Real Escualido FC's Corneliu Cămărășan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Khalid Kennedy. That made the score 2-1 after 30 minutes of play. The attack was good, but when Kyle Cox in the 34th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 37th minute, Kyle Cox made a precise shot to the right of Dantae Reve. Real Escualido FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Dantae Reve didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for England. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 62 played minutes Real Escualido FC got a freekick which was hit by Quinito Ovejas. After 65 minutes Real Escualido FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Micah Macdonald who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Cox in the 67th minute of play forced Real Escualido FC's goalkeeper Dantae Reve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casado Ozollo took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Khalid Kennedy. Khalid Kennedy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. In the 88th minute, Casado Ozollo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pagomari Palmero in the 91st minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
