After 14 minutes, Jens-Ove Lindsten made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hungary's Fodor Daniel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Falkrantz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Hermínio Meireles tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner ended in Major Barna almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Köppens Kamrater's Dan Falkrantz did a great save. Dan Falkrantz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 32nd minute of play. Balazs Lajos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Falkrantz having to interfere. Köppens Kamrater's Dan Falkrantz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Takacs Tibor in the 37th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Erling Johansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Köppens Kamrater's supporters rose to their feet, but Erling Johansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dan Falkrantz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 44th minute of the match. Major Barna scored 1-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dan Falkrantz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Köppens Kamrater's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Falkrantz came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Hungary's Antal Valentin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dan Falkrantz. That made the score 1-2 after 54 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jens-Ove Lindsten in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. Hermínio Meireles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, Köppens Kamrater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Röd to maneuver through the defense. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Ove Lindsten in the 68th minute of the match. After 68 minutes of play, Köppens Kamrater's Jens-Ove Lindsten made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fodor Daniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Katona Janos hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Köppens Kamrater's Noel Simão got a free kick in the 78th minute. Dan Falkrantz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 80th minute. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Antal Valentin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dan Falkrantz quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jens-Ove Lindsten in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermínio Meireles in the 85th minute of play. Erling Johansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dan Falkrantz made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th minute, Hungary's Major Barna dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hungary walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
