Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simon Dimo in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keld Paulsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicasio Nofre got free with Keld Paulsen in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nicasio Nofre in the 7th minute. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza's zone, Bertram Svenningsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonzalo Lon came out of the goal and Bertram Svenningsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Salvador Berriotxoa made in the 14th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Denmark's Simon Bendtsen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 20th minute of play forced C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza's goalkeeper Gonzalo Lon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonzalo Lon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 21st minute of play. After 22 minutes, Kenn Skou mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Denmark and the C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kenn Skou kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Simon Dimo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Keld Paulsen made a huge save. 33 minutes into the game, Simon Dimo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denmark the free kick. In the 42nd minute, Denmark's Bjarne Kirkegaard seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bjarne Kirkegaard the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Denmark protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bjarne Kirkegaard had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 42nd minute of the game. One of Denmark:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza:s goal. Keld Paulsen had in the 44thth minute some difficulties stopping Nicasio Nofre's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 45th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenn Skou to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bertram Svenningsen to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bertram Svenningsen in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gonzalo Lon saved C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Simon Bendtsen got a free kick in the 58th minute. The throw-in from Salvador Berriotxoa in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Simon Bendtsen. Santiago Gaitan's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santiago Gaitan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th minute, Bertram Svenningsen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Denmark fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Havier, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Simon Dimo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Simon Dimo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute, Lars Steen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 86 minutes, Nicasio Nofre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicasio Nofre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Mikkel Wulff notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of C.A. Justo J. de Urquiza's Gonzalo Lon. Gonzalo Lon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Salvador Berriotxoa made in the 90th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Denmark's Simon Bendtsen. Denmark's Mikkel Wulff got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Nicasio Nofre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gonzalo Lon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen in the 95th minute of play. Denmark's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
