In the 5th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grzegorz Skarpiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of ASTRONAUCI booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gust Ennemans didn't get a good kick on the ball. 12 minutes into the match, ASTRONAUCI's Sertel Akçakıl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnout Reekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wim Wilmes struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Grzegorz Skarpiak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Grzegorz Skarpiak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 15th minute of the match. Wim Wilmes ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, ASTRONAUCI's Grzegorz Skarpiak got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 69 minutes of play, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, ASTRONAUCI's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Grzegorz Skarpiak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Grzegorz Skarpiak. The goal made the score 1-4. Grzegorz Skarpiak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Florian Ziemba managed to get in a good position for a shot. ASTRONAUCI's supporters rose to their feet, but Florian Ziemba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnout Reekers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 91 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Egbert Nijveldt. After having played for 94 minutes, Wim Wilmes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wim Wilmes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Netherlands players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
