Tęcza Wielowieś's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 16 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fryderyk Anszczak in the 20th minute of the match. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Fryderyk Anszczak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Fryderyk Anszczak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fryderyk Anszczak in the 56th minute of play. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Pawel Drapinski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezary Chrobak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tęcza Wielowieś fans cheered their team off the field, for while Germany had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
