In the 7th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Takacs Tibor to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the game, Hungary's Antal Valentin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Savaşer Seralp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Hungary's Antal Valentin got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Balazs Lajos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 42nd minute, Vörös Henrik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 44 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Szekeres Tamas. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Major Barna kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Savaşer Seralp. That made the score 0-4 in the 56 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Balazs Lajos got free with Savaşer Seralp in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yıldıray Onursu kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After having played for 64 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the umutspor defense, Antal Valentin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Savaşer Seralp. The umutspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Savaşer Seralp should have stopped the shot. umutspor's Savaşer Seralp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save umutspor from getting a goal against them. Major Barnas short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Savaşer Seralp to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Antal Valentin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Savaşer Seralp. That made the score 0-6 in the 70 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Hungary's Major Barna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Savaşer Seralp. That made the score 0-7 after 73 minutes of play. Antal Valentin scored 0-8 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Savaşer Seralp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. umutspor's Savaşer Seralp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save umutspor from getting a goal against them. Major Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Savaşer Seralp made a huge save. 89 minutes into the match, umutspor's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Savaşer Seralp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Antal Valentin got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 91st minute Yıldıray Onursu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Savaşer Seralp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balazs Lajos, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
