Walther Jano came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Felipe Barreto. But to his dismay, Felipe Barreto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Walther Jano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Graciano Coutinho in the 22nd minute of play. The Maquis's Walther Jano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 25th minute of play.
