The crowd rose to their feet as La Cienaga's Radamel-Falcao García slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Kahn. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. In the 9thth minute of the game Dario Benedetto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 10th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Sindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Radamel-Falcao García. The supporters of La Cienaga booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Holweck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Benedetto, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dario Benedetto went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Germany booed when La Cienaga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinny Turell didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Jacinto Mincho was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 54th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 57 minutes into the game, Chris Mergenthaler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Cienaga the free kick. After a rather tough play, Germany's Chris Mergenthaler got a free kick in the 57th minute. Radamel-Falcao García took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dario Benedetto in the 60th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 75 in the game by Frank Sachs from a close distance when the talented Genaro Sindo managed to make a qualified save. La Cienaga's players were relieved. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. Alonzo Botello might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alonzo Botello ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 86th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Radamel-Falcao García managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Cienaga's supporters rose to their feet, but Radamel-Falcao García was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dario Benedetto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
