Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 11th minute David Eikelkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benni Skovhus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Ke Lang Fan could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which Arnout Reekers however easily saved by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaime Egaña during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Stevnstrup getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Jaime Egaña hit a great ball. Benni Skovhus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Stevnstrup's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Benni Skovhus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Stevnstrup's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Benni Skovhus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Stevnstrup's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Benni Skovhus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Storm Oxe in the 51st minute of the match. With 53 minutes on the clock, Bas Tuitert commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Netherlands! Netherlands:s Arnout Reekers showed great skill when he stopped Allan Åström:s penalty. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benni Skovhus having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Storm Oxe in the 72nd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Benni Skovhus made a huge save. In the 80th minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benni Skovhus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Benni Skovhus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ke Lang Fan in the 85th minute of the match. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Storm Oxe, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stevnstrup's Benni Skovhus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Stevnstrup from getting a goal against them. Netherlands's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
