An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 25th minute of play forced 浙江绍兴红日队's goalkeeper 罗雄磊 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wim Wilmes struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. 罗雄磊 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 楚耀凡, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Mei Jing Yuan hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the game, Gustaaf Groeneveldt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of 罗雄磊. Gustaaf Groeneveldt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. 罗雄磊 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 楚耀凡 took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 68th minute of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but 罗雄磊 saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 罗雄磊 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Meesters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a great header on Netherlands's corner, it was just that 浙江绍兴红日队's 罗雄磊 managed to reach the ball for a save. 83 minutes into the match, 浙江绍兴红日队's goalkeeper 罗雄磊 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
