Antonio Vespucio Liberti's Elpidio Txomin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 9th minute of play. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 14th minute of play forced Antonio Vespucio Liberti's goalkeeper Elpidio Txomin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gualterio Faron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 minutes of play, Hungary's Takacs Tibor made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elpidio Txomin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 93rd minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
