Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cai Inestrosa to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Southern Thrashers's Angelino Ospin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fodor Daniel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Thanks to some nice moves Hegedus Henrik could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Nils-Erik Askelöf however easily saved by the left post. Antal Valentin made a great header on Hungary's corner, it was just that Southern Thrashers's Nils-Erik Askelöf managed to reach the ball for a save. Southern Thrashers's Nils-Erik Askelöf proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Southern Thrashers from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Southern Thrashers's Oz Beer got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After having played for 80 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 81st minute, Cai Inestrosa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cai Inestrosa in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Hungary booed when Southern Thrashers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelino Ospin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nils-Erik Askelöf made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Balazs Lajos fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hungary's protests and gave Balazs Lajos a yellow card for diving instead. After 95 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Balazs Lajos. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
