Carlos Van Lint was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 37 minutes into the game, Slovakia's Metod Mlynar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Van Lint made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Oliver Holub managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slovakia's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliver Holub was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Van Lint breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th match minute, Milagro Sobre Césped was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Cibran to maneuver through the defense. The Milagro Sobre Césped players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Slovakia were winning 1-3.

In the 79th minute, Metod Mlynar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Omar Cordairo fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Milagro Sobre Césped's protests and gave Omar Cordairo a yellow card for diving instead. Omar Cordairo kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After 82 played minutes Slovakia got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Holub. In the 83rd minute of the match Geronimo Calvet sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henrich Slany skillfully saved the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Cefero came free, but Henrich Slany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henrich Slany made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Cefero in the 93rd minute of play. Metod Mlynar charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Metod Mlynar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th match minute, Slovakia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Metod Mlynar to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute of the match Geronimo Calvet shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henrich Slany showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Milagro Sobre Césped lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
