The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Reynen helped the player get up and apologised. Frank Peletier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bastian Hoeber having to interfere. A collision led to FC Büdlich-Breit getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Jordan Hasselberg hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Peletier got free with Bastian Hoeber in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frank Peletier who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Bastian Hoeber when he managed to save the team from getting behind. France's Frank Peletier got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frank Peletier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of France booed when FC Büdlich-Breit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jörn Domeier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bastian Hoeber made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Frank Peletier sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, FC Büdlich-Breit's Bastian Hoeber got control of the ball when Frank Peletier tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a little luck, France's Maxime Durand got control of the ball when Patrick Schreiner tried to sneak it across the goal line. Patrick Schreiner received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maxime Durand came out and tried to block the shot, but Patrick Schreiner slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 53rd minute. 56 minutes into the match, France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrick Schreiner. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bastian Hoeber showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 64 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Niko Schmitz came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Frank Peletier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niko Schmitz in the 68th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After recieving a nice pass, FC Büdlich-Breit's Jorge Reynen tried to score from far away in the 69th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niko Schmitz's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Robert Chapuis hit a great ball. If Patrick Schreiner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niko Schmitz in the 82nd minute of the match. Ernst Müller was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 90th match minute, FC Büdlich-Breit was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörn Domeier to maneuver through the defense.
