In the 3rd minute, one of Laranjense:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Laranjense. In the 5th minute, the referee gave Italy a penalty. Sigfrido Auletta looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Palmiro Gueifão. The crowd rose to their feet as Italy's Zaccheo Andolina slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Palmiro Gueifão. That made the score 2-0 after 8 minutes of play. Laranjense's Pang Chao Jun managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Deodato Magliozzi in the 10 minute of the game. Palmiro Gueifão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 14th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Milosz Juszkowski in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Vittori saved Italy from getting behind. Palmiro Gueifão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 23rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Italy's Zaccheo Andolina slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Palmiro Gueifão. That made the score 3-0 after 26 minutes of play. In the 33rd minute, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Palmiro Gueifão. Palmiro Gueifão yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Italy's Siricio Liotta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lorenzo Fréchou, made in the 38th minute of the game. 39 minutes into the match, Laranjense's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Palmiro Gueifão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zaccheo Andolina got free with Palmiro Gueifão in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute Siricio Liotta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Palmiro Gueifão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Palmiro Gueifão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Curto, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. A collision led to Laranjense getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Márcio Rossi hit a great ball. Eliseo Cutri made in the 93rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Porziano Marchitelli however managed to control. When the referee ended the match the Italy players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
