Birmingham Railers FC's Wen Yin Zhen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Birmingham Railers FC booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulrich Stein didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Wen Yin Zhen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wen Yin Zhen really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Birmingham Railers FC's Betinho de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 11th minute of play. In the 13thth minute of the game Wen Yin Zhen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Frank Sachs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Betinho de Azevedo was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. A collision led to Birmingham Railers FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. João Vítor Trevisan hit a great ball. When Wen Yin Zhen in the 17th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Tommy Kahn kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. In the 20th minute Wen Yin Zhen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Kahn stood somewhat misplaced when Wen Yin Zhen came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 24 minute. 27 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Álvaro de Brito. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wen Yin Zhen in the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wen Yin Zhen. Luizão Alagoano came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tommy Kahn could save by the left post. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Wen Yin Zhen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. 44 minutes into the match, Luizão Alagoano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luizão Alagoano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 47th match minute, Birmingham Railers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Vítor Trevisan to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Frank Sachs made the kick off in the second half. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Álvaro de Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute, Wen Yin Zhen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Ulysses Pernambucano hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wen Yin Zhen in the 58th minute of play. The Birmingham Railers FC fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Birmingham Railers FC's Wen Yin Zhen looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Germany's Sven Krakouer got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Wen Yin Zhen struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Birmingham Railers FC. In the 87thth minute of the game Wen Yin Zhen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 89 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anakoz Amer in the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Anakoz Amer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There was no doubt that Birmingham Railers FC were the better team. Birmingham Railers FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
