Aurél Ciobica charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurél Ciobica the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aurél Ciobica kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Janik Vogt hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After having played for 8 minutes, Baransel Tezveren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ФК Цомбомания's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baransel Tezveren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frasco Morales having to make a save. The supporters of Germany booed when ФК Цомбомания was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Gaxan didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Baransel Tezveren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baransel Tezveren in the 14th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baransel Tezveren, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Frank Sachs hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Aurél Ciobica stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Aurél Ciobica tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baransel Tezveren might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baransel Tezveren ran back to his position shaking his head. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baransel Tezveren in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute Baransel Tezveren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute of the match, Frank Sachs got a very nice opportunity to score, but Frasco Morales was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shane Nottingham in the 29th minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. Adrian Dreifuss charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Frank Sachs made the kick off in the second half. Frasco Morales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 63rd minute of the match. Baransel Tezveren might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baransel Tezveren ran back to his position shaking his head. Baransel Tezveren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Tommy Kahn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Baransel Tezveren showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 71 minute of play. After 73 played minutes ФК Цомбомания got a freekick which was hit by Aurél Ciobica. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Baransel Tezveren sent off a good shot on target. 81 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frasco Morales. ФК Цомбомания's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Sachs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Baransel Tezveren's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tommy Kahn firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 88 minutes, Baransel Tezveren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Germany were victorious despite being under pressure from ФК Цомбомания for much of the match.
