Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Legion of Boom's Alessandro Capixaba started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Alessandro Capixaba took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Keld Paulsen to make any attempt to save it. With an all-out effort, Legion of Boom's Keld Paulsen threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Chiquinho Vargas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Legion of Boom's Alexis Mac Allister got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 11th minute, Renatinho Soeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Legion of Boom's Renatinho Soeiro got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 12th minute of the match Chris Nygaard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guto Trevisan skillfully saved the ball. In the 14th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertram Svenningsen to maneuver through the defense. Chiquinho Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, Legion of Boom's goal looked a bit too open when Olav Graversen came free, but Guto Trevisan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Legion of Boom's Alexis Mac Allister. But to his dismay, Alexis Mac Allister quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 33 minutes into the match, Legion of Boom's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Guto Trevisan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denmark's Lars Steen quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Adilson de Medeiros, made in the 36th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexis Mac Allister in the 41st minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chris Nygaard kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chris Nygaard to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Legion of Boom's Alexis Mac Allister got a free kick in the 51st minute. Chris Nygaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guto Trevisan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute of the match Denmark got a corner. Legion of Boom's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Chris Nygaard ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Denmark's corner Chris Nygaard fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Guto Trevisan quite easily take care of the ball. Denmark's Theis Winther quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Adilson de Medeiros, made in the 63rd minute of the game. Lars Steen charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lars Steen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Steen to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexis Mac Allister in the 70th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexis Mac Allister in the 71st minute of play. Adilson de Medeiros made in the 73rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alessandro Capixaba. After 75 played minutes Denmark got a freekick which was hit by Lars Steen. Chris Nygaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Guto Trevisan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alessandro Capixaba came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Legion of Boom fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alessandro Capixaba couldn't finish the play. After having played for 84 minutes, Bertram Svenningsen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertram Svenningsen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 86 played minutes Legion of Boom got a freekick which was hit by Vito Diniz. 87 minutes into the match, Legion of Boom's goalkeeper Guto Trevisan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chris Nygaard. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alessandro Capixaba in the 91st minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Legion of Boom's Guto Trevisan got control of the ball when Chris Nygaard tried to sneak it across the goal line. Denmark's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
