Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Lex Stoffelss short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Tommy Kahn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Stefaan Weynants could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. In the 13th minute of the match, Stefaan Weynants tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tommy Kahn saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefaan Weynants in the 20th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Lex Stoffels got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Lex Stoffels's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tommy Kahn firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jens van Haghten made in the 32nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Bertrand Verhulst however managed to control. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brian Hunaerts having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 34th minute of play forced Westbeke's goalkeeper Brian Hunaerts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lex Stoffels fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Germany's Frank Sachs nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brian Hunaerts made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 44th minute, Westbeke's Stefaan Weynants dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remie Uytebroeck was the one to do the kick off. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lex Stoffels, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. If Remie Uytebroeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Remie Uytebroeck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Westbeke's Brian Hunaerts got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remie Uytebroeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute of the match, Albin Holweck tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Brian Hunaerts saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 69th minute, Lex Stoffels ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brian Hunaerts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Westbeke's Brian Hunaerts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Westbeke from getting a goal against them. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Westbeke's Louis Claevers got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brian Hunaerts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. When Germany's Frank Sachs in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Westbeke's goalie prevented a goal. 89 minutes into the match, Lex Stoffels notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute of the match Jens van Haghten sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn skillfully saved the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Westbeke had played much better football throughout.
