Jeoffrey De Prins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 6th minute of the match. Italy's Siricio Liotta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Xavi van Beek, made in the 7th minute of the game. Quade Markou made in the 11th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Gomberto Picozzi. Xavi van Beek hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Eugenio Rosati took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Vittori. Flavio Vittori dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jeoffrey De Prins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 20th minute of play. Gomberto Picozzi hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brecht Ablij, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugenio Rosati in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Vittori saved Italy from getting behind. Flavio Vittori stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eugenio Rosati's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Jeoffrey De Prins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 33rd minute of play forced MagicTeam's goalkeeper Jeoffrey De Prins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Eliseo Cutri hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Brecht Ablij managed to get in a good position for a shot. MagicTeam's supporters rose to their feet, but Brecht Ablij was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flavio Vittori breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeoffrey De Prins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 39th minute of play. Siricio Liotta struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Jeoffrey De Prins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Italy. Jeoffrey De Prins made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zaccheo Andolina was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Porziano Marchitelli. After having played for 53 minutes, Eugenio Rosati managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MagicTeam's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugenio Rosati was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, MagicTeam's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Jeoffrey De Prins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MagicTeam's Eugenio Rosati got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Rosati in the 71st minute of play. After a rather tough play, MagicTeam's Xavi van Beek got a free kick in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Porziano Marchitelli in the 75th minute of play forced MagicTeam's goalkeeper Jeoffrey De Prins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute of the match Italy got a corner. MagicTeam's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sigfrido Auletta ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jeoffrey De Prins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavio Vittori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugenio Rosati in the 79th minute. The supporters of Italy booed when MagicTeam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brecht Ablij didn't get a good kick on the ball. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. After a rather tough play, MagicTeam's Brecht Ablij got a free kick in the 88th minute. The Italy fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Italy's Adriano Curto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Adriano Curto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeoffrey De Prins read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play.
