Sandro Galishoff scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 雷泉兴, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in ≮王者归来≯从头再来's zone, Jonas Nalder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 雷泉兴 came out of the goal and Jonas Nalder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 20 minutes, Ákos Kerekes made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Austria's Fabio Auer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Sandro Galishoff took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for 雷泉兴 to make any attempt to save it. An unexpected shot in the 30th minute by Sandro Galishoff got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 董榕坚 got his second yellow card in the match during the 31st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Marvin Harrer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 雷泉兴 having to interfere. With a little luck, ≮王者归来≯从头再来's 雷泉兴 got control of the ball when Sandro Galishoff tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 38th minute, Ákos Kerekes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sandro Galishoff's late challenge caught a ≮王者归来≯从头再来's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandro Galishoff helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ≮王者归来≯从头再来 booed when Austria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Galishoff didn't get a good kick on the ball. ≮王者归来≯从头再来's Joshua Dunne got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sandro Galishoff was the one to do the kick off. When Fabio Schneider came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Austria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Schneider couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Jonas Nalder managed to get in a good position for a shot. Austria's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Nalder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 雷泉兴 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marvin Harrer in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 雷泉兴 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joshua Dunne kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Fabio Schneider might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 雷泉兴. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabio Schneider ran back to his position shaking his head. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Austria fully deserved thier win.
