Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vygandas Morkus got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Nadruvis's Egidijus Petukas. Egidijus Petukas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Nadruvis's zone, Gustaaf Groeneveldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egidijus Petukas came out of the goal and Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daumantas Navikas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. David Eikelkamp kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egidijus Petukas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wim Wilmes might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Egidijus Petukas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wim Wilmes ran back to his position shaking his head. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lars Meesters came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lars Meesters couldn't finish the play. With his leg Arnout Reekers managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Nadruvis's Daumantas Navikas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Nadruvis's Daumantas Navikas got a free kick in the 39th minute. Titas Dilys hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Nadruvis's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Egidijus Petukas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egidijus Petukas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Nadruvis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bronislovas Gerdauskas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egidijus Petukas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 48th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Nadruvis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardas Dovydaitis to maneuver through the defense. Nadruvis's Egidijus Petukas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Egidijus Petukas firmly grabbed it by the left post. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 63 played minutes Nadruvis got a freekick which was hit by Ovidijus Rajeckas. After some careless play in the Nadruvis defense, Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Egidijus Petukas. The Nadruvis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Egidijus Petukas should have stopped the shot. In the 70th match minute, Nadruvis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardas Dovydaitis to maneuver through the defense. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Egidijus Petukas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Egidijus Petukas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 77th minute of the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daumantas Navikas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Egidijus Petukas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Nadruvis getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Danas Pyragis hit a great ball. In the 87thth minute of the game Daumantas Navikas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Egidijus Petukas. Egidijus Petukas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4.
