Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enar Kluge got free with Wilson Amorim in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elmo Liik. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 17th minute of play forced JK Erala's goalkeeper Elmo Liik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodolfo Miranda made in the 18th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Felipe Barreto immediately put the ball in play. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Bruno Bastos hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the game, Viriato Moura cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Elmo Liik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Felipe Barreto struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Elmo Liik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portugal. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elmu Kalda in the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, JK Erala's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Elmo Liik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elmo Liik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Elmo Liik came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Caetano Moreira. But to his dismay, Caetano Moreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 42nd minute Enar Kluge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enar Kluge received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wilson Amorim came out and tried to block the shot, but Enar Kluge slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 43rd minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

54 minutes into the game, JK Erala's Enar Kluge nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. After a rather tough play, JK Erala's Sven Taimre got a free kick in the 60th minute. Faustino Almeida got a throw-in 70 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Felipinho Amorim. In the 78thth minute of the game Bartolomeu Dias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JK Erala's Elmo Liik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Faustino Almeida hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Faustino Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. If Joonas Tüür had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Faustino Almeida got a free kick in the 88th minute. Despite being the better team, Portugal failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
