The Correla q va en Chancleta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patricio Ugutz should have stopped the shot. After having played for 29 minutes, Adrianinho Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Correla q va en Chancleta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrianinho Meirelles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Criado made in the 33rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jon Cubero however managed to control. Jon Cubero hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 38 minutes in the game Jonathan Criado did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Adria Bielsa. Correla q va en Chancleta's Adrianinho Meirelles got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santiago Sartori made in the 44th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Omar Toledo immediately put the ball in play. The throw-in from Santiago Sartori in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Correla q va en Chancleta's Ivan Laurgain. After the first half Spain were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omar Toledo was the one to do the kick off. Patricio Ugutz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Omar Toledo in the 56th minute. Gabriel Ascaso came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Correla q va en Chancleta's Adrianinho Meirelles. But to his dismay, Adrianinho Meirelles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Correla q va en Chancleta made a substitution. Ricardo Oinaz replaced Barni Irigoyen. Correla q va en Chancleta's Aietes Rigatos was substituted for Juan Cristóbal Jadue. Spain's Carles Cherro was substituted for Omar Toledo. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Correla q va en Chancleta's goalkeeper Patricio Ugutz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Spain's David Aranda got a free kick in the 76th minute. After 83 minutes of play, Spain's Sergio Ruiz made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patricio Ugutz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dimitar Vúrbenov hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute, Vicente Merino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patricio Ugutz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 96 minutes into the game, Pau Herrero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Patricio Ugutz. Pau Herrero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. When the match was over Spain could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Correla q va en Chancleta throughout the match.
