Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hernan Mendez took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, Faraday FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Vela to maneuver through the defense. Ildefonso Ikatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 6th minute of play. With a little luck, Denmark's Keld Paulsen got control of the ball when Teofilo Frasquito tried to sneak it across the goal line. Faraday FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Amador Romildo in the 9th minute. Keld Paulsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ceferino Formerio in the 11th minute. Chris Nygaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ildefonso Ikatz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertram Svenningsen to maneuver through the defense. Hernan Mendez did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Keld Paulsen 18 minutes into the match. After having played for 20 minutes, Ceferino Formerio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Faraday FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ceferino Formerio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Ceferino Formerio notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Denmark's Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chris Nygaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ildefonso Ikatz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute of the match Chris Nygaard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ildefonso Ikatz skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Faraday FC's Teofilo Frasquito got a free kick in the 31st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ildefonso Ikatz saved Faraday FC from getting behind. Ceferino Formerio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Denmark's Keld Paulsen got control of the ball when Ceferino Formerio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ceferino Formerio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Keld Paulsen skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Ceferino Formerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Denmark booed when Faraday FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Mendez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chris Nygaard to make the kick off. Ceferino Formerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Formerio in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Mendez came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Ove Ahlgren hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Pelle Gabrielsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Pelle Gabrielsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Frasquito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chris Nygaard kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 75th minute Hernan Mendez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Hernan Mendez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bertram Svenningsen came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bertram Svenningsen couldn't finish the play. After 92 played minutes Faraday FC got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Formerio. Mikkel Wulff hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Faraday FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
