Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute of the match, Cauan Favoretto got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tommy Kahn was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cauan Favoretto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. 9 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cauan Favoretto. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Malte Schiele kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Cauan Favoretto scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd minute, Enrique Arósio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Germany's Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Lorenzo Santa María stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Lorenzo Santa María tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lorenzo Santa María during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lorenzo Santa María hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Anton Hurezeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Hurezeanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Santiago Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Anton Hurezeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Lorenzo Santa María made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Cauan Favoretto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santiago Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cauan Favoretto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 54 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. In the 57th minute, Sven Krakouer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Santa María in the 58th minute of play. In the 66th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense. Santiago Futebol Clube made a substitution. Francisco Zanette replaced Nico Bueno. In the 67th minute, Albin Holweck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Cauan Favoretto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santiago Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Cauan Favoretto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 74 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Santa María came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Albin Holweck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Santa María cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 86 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sachs. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Santa María in the 90th minute of play. When Christiano de Queirós fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santiago Futebol Clube's protests and gave Christiano de Queirós a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Santiago Futebol Clube fans cheered their team off the field, for while Germany had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
