The wind increased when Zülfü Özalpsan made the kick off in the second half. When Zülfü Özalpsan came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the KIRKLARELİ SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zülfü Özalpsan couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuele Kunz got free with Mehmet Emin Saffet in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the game, Ergincan Okanalp threw the ball into play from the sideline. With a little luck, KIRKLARELİ SK's Mehmet Emin Saffet got control of the ball when Samuele Kunz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Switzerland's Samuele Kunz got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mehmet Emin Saffet came out and tried to block the shot, but Samuele Kunz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 93rd minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Switzerland players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
