Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Abar in the 3rd minute of the match. Marcelo Orti's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelo Orti helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th match minute, Deportivo Gamberro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Orti to maneuver through the defense. After 8 minutes, Dario Jaunti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Gamberro and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Gamberro's Dario Jaunti got a free kick in the 8th minute. Juan Chayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 13th minute of play. Germany's Willy Stieler managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Erasmo Ferdinand in the 19 minute of the game. After 21 played minutes Deportivo Gamberro got a freekick which was hit by Dario Jaunti. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efrain Evis in the 30th minute of the match. Willy Stieler hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Adrian Dreifuss's late challenge caught a Deportivo Gamberro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Dreifuss helped the player get up and apologised. 43 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Efrain Evis. Thanks to some nice moves Guido Bero could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Tommy Kahn however easily saved by the left post. Efrain Evis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommy Kahn came out and tried to block the shot, but Efrain Evis slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 46th minute.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Germany booed when Deportivo Gamberro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Orti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Bero, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guido Bero in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Deportivo Gamberro's Laureano Harri got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Deportivo Gamberro made a substitution. Tony Manerov replaced Efrain Evis. Dario Abar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Lucas Rovan fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Gamberro's protests and gave Lucas Rovan a yellow card for diving instead. Germany's Frank Sachs shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 72nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Juan Chayo but with some difficulty. When Willy Stieler fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Willy Stieler a yellow card for diving instead. Willy Stieler hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The audience held their breath when Dario Jaunti in the 75th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Tommy Kahn's left hand side. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Deportivo Gamberro's Marcelo Orti has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 87th minute. Laureano Harri might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laureano Harri ran back to his position shaking his head. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Manerov in the 91st minute of play. Juan Chayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 95th minute of the match. Malte Schiele hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Deportivo Gamberro's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
