Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Sieroszewice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milosz Wiater didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Netherlands players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sieroszewice were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zachary Kosmatka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when 曹朋荣 got free with Arnout Reekers in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. But to his dismay, Gijsbert ter Kruimer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After 89 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Mathijn Doctor. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. In the 90th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Eikelkamp to maneuver through the defense. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
