Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Luganeros AFC's Luis Vázquez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luis Vázquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Vázquez scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 10 minutes into the game, Portugal's Caetano Moreira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Porfiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 14 minutes into the match, Luganeros AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Gabriel Porfiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Porfiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Luganeros AFC's Luis Vázquez. But to his dismay, Luis Vázquez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Portugal's Caetano Moreira in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Luganeros AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Gabriel Porfiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When Luganeros AFC's Luis Vázquez in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Portugal's goalie prevented a goal. In the 33rd minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Porfiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabricio Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Porfiro having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Vázquez came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Vázquez in the 41st minute of the match. Luis Vázquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viriato Moura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Jan Hendrik Busch in the 53rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. Gabriel Porfiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 53rd minute of play. Luis Vázquez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Caetano Moreira notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Luganeros AFC's Gabriel Porfiro. Gabriel Porfiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luganeros AFC's Rey Ronaldo was substituted for Luis Vázquez. Gabriel Porfiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Luganeros AFC's Gabriel Porfiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 66th minute of play. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rey Ronaldo in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Luganeros AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Moreira came free, but Gabriel Porfiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rey Ronaldo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After taking down the ball on Luganeros AFC's corner Jan Hendrik Busch fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wilson Amorim quite easily take care of the ball. In the 88th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Miranda to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the match, Luganeros AFC's Rey Ronaldo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Raphael da Silveira made a great header on Luganeros AFC's corner, it was just that Portugal's Wilson Amorim managed to reach the ball for a save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Luganeros AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Portugal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
